How does parasailing work in Mallorca?
Parasailing has become very popular in Mallorca, and for good reason! From your bird’s eye view, find your holiday resort, the city, and the turquoise sea. On a clear day, you may even see as far as Ibiza!
Parasailing adventures are not only fun, but the crew will take your safety into account. You’ll be strapped securely to the harness and parachute, and most crews speak multiple languages including English. The captain will always keep an out for proper wind and weather conditions, too.
For the most part in Mallorca, you’ll take off and land on a motorboat. When the boat picks up speed, you’ll lift into the air, tethered to the boat. Soon, you’re floating above the sea while being pulled by the boat!
If you’d like to fly solo you can (I did!). Or, you can go up in pairs or groups (typically 3, but sometimes more). Kids can parasail too, but each provided has different requirements for the minimum age. Kids below 16 usually need to be accompanied by an adult.
Boats will take about 10-20 people out at a time, so you can enjoy the boat ride as you await your turn parasailing. Non-fliers can usually join the boat ride for a lower fare.
We highly recommend you treat yourself to a once-in-a-lifetime parasailing flight on your trip to Mallorca!
